Students with disabilities (including dyslexia, ADHD, and autism) often have difficulty developing executive function skills.

As someone who works with these students, you likely have students who feel:

  • Confused about how to initiate tasks
  • Overwhelmed when organizing thoughts and materials
  • Anxious about managing time
  • Ashamed by an inability to pay attention
  • Too exhausted to persevere

In this webinar, Keri Huddleston, M.A., CCC-SLP, will help participants:

  • Unpack executive function challenges faced by students with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia
  • Help students extract and organize ideas from text with reading accommodations (like Snap&Read study tools and outline)
  • Help students persevere and focus when writing with writing accommodations (like Co:Writer Topic Dictionaries and word prediction)
  • Identify systems of support including staff roles and responsibilities
  • Implement with individual students and across the IEP Team
  • Make breakthroughs with your students who have executive function challenges!

All participants will receive a Student Success Planning Matrix.
